Mila Olive Erasmus

Mila Olive Erasmus, born February 2025, is a picture of inspiration and resilience.

Mila is the youngest globally to go home on peritoneal dialysis at 67 days and will hopefully be among the first children in the world to receive Treg therapy post transplant.

Mila's parents Chloe and Dave received so much support in their first year as parents, firstly from a JustGiving page by friend Liam who raised money from 70 friends to help them pay the bills when living in hospital and then phenomenal support from 300 people in just 5 days to provide the support to pay for Mila's blood draw, TREG manufacturing and storage.

This support in their most stretched moment has inspired the desire to try to give back and participate in accelerating the conditions for thriving lives for baby Milas and her friends with similar conditions, given the first 5 years are the most important for setting up a person's operating system for life.
